EDWCA Annual General Meeting

On Thursday 10th October, we will be holding the AGMs of both the BWCA and EDWCA at Sketchley Grange, near Hinckley.

These meetings are for members to vote on the proposed formation of a single industry association, bringing both the EDWCA and the BWCA together as one organisation.

If the members from both Associations are in agreement following the individual AGM’s, the Inaugural Meeting of the new association will take place after lunch.

There has been a lot of work over the last few months with representatives from the two Association
Executive Councils working together. With continued positivity and discussion from both sides, it is foreseen
that the two Associations will become one on 1st January 2020, following Member approvals on 10th October.

In mid-September Members will receive access to a series of documents so that Members are fully briefed
to enable an informed decision.

Detailed below for your information is the itinerary for the AGM event.

The itinerary for the day is:
10:30 Arrival & refreshments
11:00 EDWCA AGM – EDWCA Members only
11:45 BWCA AGM – BWCA Members only
13:00 Lunch
14:00 New association inaugural meeting including presentations and round-table discussions
19:30 Members’ Informal Supper
