OUR HISTORY

EDWCA (European Drinking Water Cooler Association) was established in April 2001 (formally known as the EPDWA) and is one of the largest UK trade associations, with approximately 100 members delivering point of use (POU) and bottled drinking water coolers.  The Association’s aims are to promote, develop and maintain the highest standards of hygiene, safety and ethics within the European drinking water industry.

The Association provides members with training, information and support, as well as representing their interests at local, national and European levels. EDWCA works as an authoritative source for all information concerning water coolers.

From our origins in drinking water, EDWCA now represent the collective interests of our members within the water cooler, coffee and vending industries, as the needs of the market continue to evolve.

We are always there with a helping hand to help our members understand what service excellence is, how to achieve it and use it as a key differentiator.

We address the issues of today and tomorrow as the needs of the water and beverage industry evolve.

Our objectives are to assist our members in delivering the best drinking water solutions to their customers.

EDWCA is a member of the European Vending Association (EVA), an EU accredited lobbying organisation based in Brussels.  Together with the UK Automatic Vending Association (AVA), EDWCA co-hosts AVEX, the largest bi-annual UK vending industry trade event.

We assist our members in delivering service excellence through support, advice and guidance. With the tools available to our members, you become the experts so your customers don’t have to be!

Our membership is more than just a tick in the box!
